My latest calc-book acquisition is a nice copy of Thomas / Finney, 9th edition. I have heard this proclaimed in many places as the best standard text ... we'll see if it does me any good.
I currently have far too many too-large books scattered around my apartment, and too little corresponding knowledge rattling around in my skull.
Wish I could take a long sabbatical somehow and just do nothing but math: first work through an Algebra and Trigonometry course, then start at the beginning of something like Thomas / Finney and just plow on.
